Whether you've found your match or you're just taking a pause, here’s how to close your Hinge account.
To Permanently Close Your Hinge Account:
- Sign in to the Hinge app.
- Tap your Photo Icon on the far right of the navigation bar.
- Tap the Gear Icon to open Account Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.
This action ensures that all your content, including photos, chat history, and member interactions, will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see ‘How Long We Retain Your Data’).
Keep in Mind:
- Uninstalling the app won’t delete your account. Be sure to follow the steps above to delete your account.

If you have an active Hinge+ or HingeX subscription:
Follow these steps to ensure you've canceled your subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the next billing period.
On iPhone:
If you subscribed using the App Store or your Apple ID:
- Tap here to view your Subscription page.
- Tap Hinge.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.

If you subscribed using Hinge payment (powered by Stripe):
Deleting your account will immediately cancel your subscription, and you will permanently lose access to any remaining subscription benefits for your then-current subscription.
If you decide to create a new Hinge account during the original subscription period, you will not be able to reaccess your subscription benefits and will need to purchase a new subscription.
On Android:
- Tap here to view your Subscription page.
- Tap Hinge.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the instructions.
