Language and Measurement Settings

Language

To change which language appears in the app for Android:

1. Tap your Photo icon on the far right of your navigation bar.
2. Tap the Gear icon to access your Settings .
3. Scroll down to the Language & Region section and tap App Language.
   1. This will take you to the Languages setting for your device: Tap +Add a language and choose the language you wish to use
4. Move your preferred Language to the first (1) position.
5. Tap the back arrow (<) in the upper left-hand corner to return to the Settings page.
6. Note: Changing the Language for Android will change the language for your device, not just the Hinge app. 

To change which language appears in the app for iOS: 

1. Tap your Photo icon on the far right of your navigation bar.
2. Tap the Gear icon .
3. Scroll down to the Language & Region section and tap App Language.
4. Under Preferred Language, tap Language to view available languages for Hinge. 
   1. Note: If you do not see Preferred Language, please follow the link from Apple Support to add your preferred language to your device: Apple Support.
5. Select the language you prefer for Hinge. 
6. Once you've made your selection, any change will appear when you navigate back to the Hinge app.

Measurements

To change how you see measurement units for Height:

1. Tap the Gear Icon .
2. Under Language and Region, tap Measurement Units.
3. Select either feet (FT) or centimeters (CM) from the toggle.

To change the measurement units for Distance:

1. Tap the Gear Icon .
2. Under Language and Region, tap Measurement Units.
3. Select either miles (MI) or kilometers (KM) from the toggle.
