To make a subscription purchase in the app, please follow the steps below:
- Within the Hinge app, tap your Photo icon on the far right of your navigation bar
- Tap the Gear icon
to open Settings
- Scroll down to the Subscription section
- Tap ”Subscribe to Hinge” to see our subscription packages
- When you’re ready select the subscription package you wish to buy, then tap the Purchase button at the bottom of the screen.
If you’re an iOS user, this purchase will be made through Apple using the payment information associated with your Apple ID.
If you’re an Android user, your purchase will be processed through Google Play.
Once subscribed, you can view your subscription status within the Hinge app:
- Tap your photo icon on the far right of the navigation bar. You will see your subscription status at the top left of the screen.
- If you want to see when your subscription ends, click on the Gear icon and scroll down to the Subscription section.
Your subscription status is not visible to other daters on Hinge.
How does Billing Work?
- If you’ve chosen the weekly subscription package, you’ll be charged once a week, and your subscription will automatically renew every week.
- If you’ve chosen the monthly subscription package, you’ll be charged once a month, and your subscription will automatically renew every month.
- If you’ve chosen the three month subscription package, you’ll immediately be charged for three months, and your subscription will automatically renew every three months.
- If you've chosen the six months subscription package, you’ll immediately be charged for six months, and your subscription will automatically renew every six months.
Note: You can cancel your subscription at any time. See “Adjusting Your Subscription”
Important payment details:
- Please note that Hinge+ and HingeX subscriptions automatically renew, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the next billing period.
- You’ll be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
